Yamaha AEX 1500

Scotty met jazz guitarist Martin Taylor and really enjoys his playing.  While Scotty's friend Mike Eldred was working for Yamaha he gave Scotty this 1994 Yamaha AEX 1500, serial #4P19016.  The AEX1500 was designed in collaboration with Martin Taylor.  It features a Sycamore arched top, figure Maple back and sides, Maple neck, Ebony fingerboard, 1-way floating "Johnny Smith" style humbucker and bridge piezo pickups, 20 frets, 24 3/4" scale length,  Ebony/bone bridge and a Trapeze-style floating bridge design.

Scotty didn't use this guitar to perform, he just played it at home.  Scotty gave this guitar his friend Jacques Vroom around 2007.
