In October of 2010 while traveling to the Guitar Show in Arlington, TX I stopped by Scotty's house in Nashville for lunch and a visit with him and Gail.  She had planned at some point to do a write up about his home to give the fans a little insight to his surroundings. At the time he was in the process of disassembling his home studio but was keeping a small rig for recording, as he put it, "just in case!"  I figured it might be time at least to share some of these.

The gentleman doing the rewiring that day happened to be originally from Western Massachusetts.  When he and I started talking about some of the local places and recollections Scotty listened for a few minutes, or tried to then walked away shaking his head lost in our "accents."

Just about all of his memorabilia, guitars and equipment had been dispered and donated before he died. Much of it went to either Gibson, The Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame and friends.
