Had a brilliant night last night at Robin2 in Bilston, Scotty was
brilliant.  Although you can see he wasn't 100% he put his heart
and soul into it and I think it was probably pretty tiring for
him.  Another 14 to do and I really hope he gets through it all.
Gail came on stage and said a few words and it was nice to actually meet
her, what a really nice person.  The Grundy Pritchard Band were
also fantastic and I will remember this night for a very long time.
Mervyn was absolutely thrilled to see Scotty in action.Lindsay Wata

What a night! I went to see Scotty and the band last night, 27th
February 2004,in Birkenhead near Liverpool. The guys from the band got
everyone in the mood and then 'The Legend' appeared. An amazingly varied
audience, from young rockabilly's to the more mature fans enjoyed what
can only be described as an inspiring evening. As Gail said when she
came up on stage, it was only 2 months and 13 days since the great man
was in intensive care following major brain surgery! Just to hear the family 'twang' of that old guitar send shivers down my
spine and you could tell that the guys on stage with Scotty were really
having fun. Although Scotty didn't say much (for obvious reasons) his
wicked sense of humour shone through with some of the quips he made in
the background and the band certainly had a good laugh!

My brother Chris and I heard you play at the Pacific road arts centre Friday, 27-02-04 - It was a wonderful night.
My brother Chris is a huge fan of your sound, and I have become a fan also through him.
We both play guitar and feel privilaged to have had the opportunity to have heard your unique touch.
Thank you for coming to England.Mark Maxwell

Dear Scotty & Gail, I just had to write & say
how much I enjoyed the concert in Manchester on 28th Feb. To see you,
Scotty, so bravely playing along with the band after all you've gone
through, was a truly unique & touching experience. It was a
wonderful moment in history, one that I will never forget. I tried to
imagine what it must have been like, all those years ago, when you first
started out, & what a thrilling experience it must have been to see
you 3 guys on stage, & later with DJ.  If only I could have
been there. Imagine if somebody had said to you then, that in 50 years
time you'd be performing these songs in England, I bet you would have
laughed out loud! If only the rest of the band could have been here too.
I thought the Grundy Pritchard Band were fantastic, & the lead
singer did a brilliant job of all the songs, while not trying to 'be
Elvis'.  Let's face it, no-one could 'be' Elvis! Thank you both for
a fabulous evening & I wish you all the best for the rest of
the   tour, & a safe journey home.Marion Meech

I went to the gig in Wolverhampton 26 Feb and  was really
honoured at seeing Scotty perform on stage.  I have been to many
concerts in the past but have not had the feeling i had the other night
at truly being in the presence of a true rock and roll legend.  I
am 39 years of age and been a fan of the Elvis Scotty ,Bill and DJ all
my life grew up listening to them. So it really was a privilege to see
him in the flesh (fantastic). I also thought that the Grundy band were outstanding and thought they
portrayed the Presley sun section of the gig with real respect, the lead
vocal in the hat done Elvis and Scotty proud with his vocals nice one.
Please tell Scotty to take it easy. Hope to see you again.

Hi Scotty, Saw you last night in brighton and would just like to say thanks for a great show. It was great to see you looking so well after all thats happened, take care scotty look forward to seeing you again and remember keep
        rockin. Hi Scotty and Gail,
I was at the Komedia gig in Brighton last night and just wanted to thank you for all that you and your music has meant to me over the last few years. I'm 34, and only really paid attention to Elvis's music quite recently (though I've heard it all my life - we all have!). Anyway, for me, the early stuff is the best stuff, and it was WONDERFUL to see a living legend of that time. All the very best for your touring, your playing and your continued recovery. Here's to the sidemen - that's most us!Ian Nicholson

We've just gotten home from tonight's amazing concert
at City Varieties in Leeds, but it will be many weeks before we come
down from the ceiling after witnessing Scotty play on stage. What a
truly awe-inspiring man Scotty is and its no overstatement to say that,
even though we are both 28, we really will never attend anything quite
like it again in our entire lives. After all, how will we ever top
that? A friend of ours described Scotty as 'the Yoda of the guitar world'. I
agree entirely with his sentiments. Scotty, you are incredible, an
absolute master of your craft and long may you continue.
Thank you to everyone involved for making tonight so magical, it was a
honour to be in the same room.

We would just like to say what a great pleaseure it
was to have you play in our home town of Leeds. The concert was amazing
and we really enjoyed the whole show. If it had gone on any longer we
would definately have been dancing in the aisles! We're glad we had a
piece of rock and roll history playing in Leeds Also Gail I'm glad you liked the City Varieties Theatre and I hope you
got to do some shopping as Leeds is a really great place to shop.

Scottie and his fantastic, excellent band brought back all the old years.Sharon and Ronnie Wade

Scotty i came to see you in the U.K in Leeds, i was
sat at the front of the stage directly in front of you. For the full
time you where on i could not believe what i was seeing and hearing you
were truly fantastic and remain to be one of the biggest guitar legends
ever known. Thanks for inspiring me in my playing. I wish you the best

I saw you play in Leeds last Weds and I loved every
minute of it.  You played great and the band was excellent.
Hope you are feeling well - I wish I had a guitar like yours!  It
looked and sounded really fantastic.   - I'm in a band copying
rock n roll songs so seeing you and hearing you play all those great
guitar parts you made up in the 50s was great. All the best Scotty and
        thanks. Gary Wood

Hi Scotty Gail and the Band.  Thanks for a
fantastic night on the Renfrew Ferry.  We all had a very memorable
night. I was dancing as soon as you came on at the front of the
stage.  I hope you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the memories
Elvis would have been proud and happy to know you filled our hearts with
joy and music in Glasgow.  I hope you liked the roses and take care
on the rest of your UK tour. Margaret Colhoun
 March 08, 2004
I was at the Renfrew Ferry gig with my friend, it was
awesome. It brought back home how important and how critical Scotty was
to modern music, and still is. Great to see you after all these
        years. Arthur Parker
 March 08, 2004
Thanks, Scotty and the band, for a wonderful show at
Glasgow's Renfrew Ferry yesterday evening.  It was great to hear
"the guitar that changed the world" live on stage. 50 years
later, and that music is as powerful today as it ever was.  Thought
Paul Ansell & the Liam Grundy Band were great too.  Keep on
rockin' Scotty, and I hope you and Gail enjoyed your short stay in
        Scotland.Lillian Cumming

What an absolutely pleasure and an honor to have seen
you at Nottingham on March 9th 2004.  You are indeed incredible
after all you have been through in the last few months. Please continue
to regain your health and listen to Gail when she tells you to slow
down. Thank you once again for the many years of sheer delight and may
their be many many more. Please come back to see us very soon. Bernard Prewett

I got to see you at the Queen Elizabeth last night
(10 March) and it was wonderful to see you play. It was the experience
of a life-time for me and I will never forget it. I wish you all the
best and thank you for the wonderful music you have played over the
        years.Duncan Carter
 March 11, 2004
A great night at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and a great
thrill to see you in person at last Scotty. I was on the second row just
pinching myself that I was seeing one of the greatest instrumentalists
of the last 50 years in ANY genre not just rock n` roll! You are one
brave man, I found it a very moving experience. You had wonderful
support from the guys in the band and from Gail who charmed us all with
her speech. Hopefully I will have a teletext review up on Channel 4 tv
UK Page 354 late this week/early next. Space in these reviews is very
limited and it was hard to explain in so few words what a remarkable
display of courage the show was and the insight it gave into not just
Scotty Moore the guitar legend but also Scotty Moore the man. Keep
yourself well and come back to the UK and play for us again one day
        Scotty!Kevin Hewick

I know I'm a bit late with this, but what a night you
and Western Union gave us in The Lemon Tree in Aberdeen. I never
expected this gig to be on after your recent health problems but I'm
lucky enough to have seen you three times before and Scotty, you've
still got it. Gail mentioned your friends here in Aberdeen and I feel
that they are lucky to have such a genuine character as yourself in
their circle. Maybe someday I might be lucky enough to become one of
your Celtic friends. Look after yourself, no-one would have blamed you
if this tour was cancelled.Bill Bruce

Scotty & Gail - thanks for coming to London and
playing. I enjoyed the gig so much: what an honour to be there. Your
commitment and enjoyment of the show shone through and your efforts were
clearly appreciated by everyone in the great band and audience. You know
recovery from surgery is not a straight line - it's a kind of
up/down/squiggly affair [just like life itself]. Ray Dorset [Mungo
Jerry] couldn't make the gig but sends his regards and hopes to see you
in June when we next tour the USA: when I told him about the show he was
sick about missing it!! Ray's song written for Elvis is on our recent
album - we'll send you a copy for your continuing recovery.  Ray
& I wish you all the best.Roland Dunne

Just a short message to say how much I enjoyed your
show last night at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.  I never got
to see Elvis live, but last night I think I witnessed a little bit of
the magic.  Best wishes.I may be pushing 70 but last night at the Queen Elizabeth hall, thanks to you and the band, I felt my youth had returned. May I wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Hi Scotty, Gail, Great gig at the Village, Dublin 13th March -
goose bumps galore thanks so much for coming all this way!! I spent many
years trying to figure out My Baby Left Me (still am) and I still
remember the first time I heard That's Alright Mama and realizing that
this stuff isn't manufactured. If I can conduct myself half as well as
you do I'll be flying! Dermot O'Reilly

I was at the gig you did in Dublin recently and I want to thank
you for a great night. you put on a great show. It was fantastic hearing
those famous guitar solos from Elvis's hits for real. Thank you for
continuing to play for us. Keep well and hope to see you back in Ireland
        again soon. Patrick Walsh

Just a quick note to let ya know that all of us who travelled down
from Belfast for the show on Saturday were thrilled to ctach ya in the
flesh for the very first time. Great band too and thankfully none of the
cabaret slop that people insist on foisting on us rock'n'rollers all too
often. Nope! You are still the most under rated guitar hero ever - and
the most modest too! But it was you - and you alone - who tore up the
old rule book and wrote your own - and we all been playing catch up ever
        since!Brian Young
